GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS - AZIZ SOUSS CARS
ARTICLE I - CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE
A. Vehicle condition
I acknowledge that I have checked that the vehicle is in perfect working order at the time of rental. I undertake not to tamper with the meter or seals, on pain of a penalty equivalent to 200 km per day.
B. Vehicle return
The vehicle must be returned to Aziz Souss Cars Agadir at the contracted time and place, with tires, tools and equipment complete. Any unauthorized delay may result in additional costs or legal proceedings.
In the event of abnormal deterioration of a tire, I undertake to replace it with a tire of the same brand and size.
All vehicle documents must be returned at the end of the rental period. late fees will be applied.
C. Mechanical condition
I acknowledge that the vehicle is in good mechanical condition. I am responsible for fuel consumed and breakdowns due to negligence (water level, oil, gearbox, etc.).
Normal mechanical breakdowns are the responsibility of Aziz Souss Cars.
ARTICLE II - RENTAL AND SECURITY DEPOSIT
Visit total rental amount is payable in advance.
A security deposit is compulsory and cannot be used to extend the rental period without the prior agreement of Aziz Souss Cars.
All extensions must be paid for 48 hours before the end of the current contract.
The deposit can be used to cover :
visit unjustified damage,
the loss of documents,
or any other vehicle expenses, on presentation of receipts.
ARTICLE III - INFRINGEMENTS
All the fines, taxes or fees for traffic violations during the rental period are as follows at the tenant's expense.
ARTICLE IV - USE OF THE VEHICLE
The hirer undertakes not to use the vehicle:
For the paid transport of passengers or goods.
To transport illegal or contraband products.
To tow another vehicle or take part in a competition.
Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
By a person not authorized by Aziz Souss Cars or under 25 years of age without a valid permit for at least one year.
Any breach of these rules will result in cancellation of insurance coverage.
ARTICLE V - INSURANCE
The hirer declares that he/she is aware of the terms and conditions of Aziz Souss Cars' insurance.
The insurance covers :
visit damage to third parties,
the flight and the’fire,
and the’24-hour roadside assistance.
Not covered:
tires, accessories, car radios,
personal items left in the vehicle,
damage under the chassis or due to negligence.
A franchise applies according to vehicle category (from 10,000 DH for city cars up to 50,000 DH for limousines).
ARTICLE VI - ACCIDENT OR THEFT
In the event of an accident, the renter must :
Protect passengers and vehicle.
Gather contact details for witnesses and parties involved.
Not acknowledging responsibility on the spot.
Immediately notify police and Aziz Souss Cars.
Provide a written report within 5 days (or 24h in case of theft).
Failure to comply with these obligations may result in loss of insurance coverage.
ARTICLE VII - LIABILITY
The lessee may not sell, mortgage or modify the vehicle.
All modifications to the contract must be made in writing.
Disputes are referred to the Agadir courts.
ARTICLE VIII - BREACHES OF THE HIGHWAY CODE
The lessee authorizes Aziz Souss Cars to debit its card for any Parking ticket or fine received during the rental period.
A copy of the statement of offence or offence report can be provided on request.
ARTICLE IX - PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
Aziz Souss Cars is committed to respecting law 09-08 on the protection of personal data.
No information is passed on to third parties without consent.
